The City University of New York has set pay dates for its new contract with the union, for 2 percent increases effective Feb. 1, 2017, Feb. 1, 2018 and Feb. 1, 2019.

The tentative pay date for full-time and part-time employees at CUNY’s senior colleges is Aug. 1.

Full- and part-time employees working in CUNY’s community colleges will receive their pay rate increases and retroactive pay on Aug. 23.

Passage comes after intense lobbying by a coalition of patient advocates, consumer health and business organizations, and unions, including DC 37.

Your union is about more than winning raise. Through negotiations over many years, our union has built up a comprehensive benefits package, which serves as a model for unions around the country. Here we highlight many of the benefits and protections our union has won at the bargaining table or established on our own.

Join Workers United/SEIU (ILGWU) for the commemoration of the 108th anniversary of the 1911 Triangle Factory Fire, one of the pivotal events in U.S. history and a turning point in labor’s struggle to achieve fair wages, dignity at work and safe working conditions.

Outrage at the deaths of 146 mostly young, female immigrants inspired the union movement and helped to institute worker protections and fire safety laws.

On February 1, 2019, AFSCME's Judicial Panel issued a decision on the three (3) protests filed in the Local 375 elections. With all of the protests dismissed, the administratorship is working with President Mike Troman to transition control of Local 375 back to the newly elected leadership.
