Center had temporarily relocated while undergoing gut renovation and modernization

NEW YORK—Today, District Council 37 held a ribbon cutting to commemorate the reopening of the Union’s dental center at 115 Chambers St. The remodeled dental center is a state-of-the-art, 30-chair facility that will now offer enhanced features, including digital radiographs, improved endodontic technology and intraoral scanners. The Union has offered dental services to members and their dependents for 39 years and treats over 8,000 patients annually. The center offers a wide range of services from preventive dental care to extensive bridge and crown work.

“Offering dental services to our members and their families is one of the many reasons District Council 37 stands out,” said Henry Garrido, Executive Director, District Council 37, AFSCME. “We believe our union is family and strive to deliver the best services possible. We are so proud to continue to improve upon the services we offer for our members.”

“We strive to provide our members with the highest quality dental experience and will continue to grow with the ever changing facets of dentistry to ensure that our members are well taken care of,” said Jenneate Radix, DDS, Clinical Director, DC 37 Dental Centers.

“We are most pleased to deliver this high quality dental experience with the help of our dedicated staff members, who have been instrumental in the centers success over the years and have always taken great pride in the care of their fellow DC 37 members,” said Devin Green-Harris, RDH, Administrator, DC 37 Dental Centers.

The Dental Center at 115 Chambers St. temporarily closed in October 2020 to undergo a gut renovation and modernization of the facility. As of Monday, November 15, the center is open again and taking appointments.
