On August 29, 2016, International President Lee Saunders placed Civil Service Technical Guild, Local 375, AFSCME, AFL-CIO, under an administratorship pursuant to Article IX, Section 37 of the AFSCME International Constitution. ...The matter was referred to the Judicial Panel for hearing pursuant to Article IX, Sections 39 and 40 of the International Constitution.

Effective immediately, NY Local 375 delegates must be present at the beginning of the meeting and remain through the business portion of the meeting to receive the $40 stipend. Delegates are required to sign in before and at the end of each meeting. Beginning with the October 2016 delegates meeting, stipends will be paid by the Local directly to the delegates on a quarterly basis.

The WOC hold its monthly meeting on the fourth Wednesday of each month. If there is a Holiday during the week we meet, the meeting will be move to another day. The meeting is held at 125 Barclay Street, NY, NY 10007 at 6:00pm . The room will be announced before the meeting and displayed on the board in the lobby.

Chapter 2 - Transit Authority (TA)

City of New York employees will now be entitled to excused leave to undertake a screening for breast or prostate cancer.

Effective July 21, 2016, employees of the City of New York are entitled to take an excused absence for prostate cancer screenings. Chapter 96 of the Laws of 2016 was enacted on July 21, 2016, amending Civil Service Law § 159-c to include New York City's employees among public employees entitled to take excused leave for prostate cancer screenings.
