$3,000 Ratification Bonus (pro-rated for anyone not working full-time)

May 26, 2023

Dear Sisters & Brothers,

Congratulations!! The citywide economic contract was ratified. Of the 88,000 ballots that were mailed out to the members, 45,936 members voted.

The contract was approved by 97.7% of the members who voted. This is indeed a cause for celebration as we now have a sound and solid contract.

We are now in negotiations with the City to negotiate a contract for our CUNY members.

On behalf of myself, my staff, and my Executive Board, I would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays!

Be well and stay safe.
