The DC 37 Black History Committee invites you to celebrate Black History Month during the following in-person and vir

DC 37 has joined the four of the state’s largest unions to call for legislation that seeks to protect patients from excessive hospital emergency room charges.

DC 37 Executive Director Henry Garrido, 32BJ SEIU President Héctor Figueroa, United Federation of Teachers President Michael Mulgrew and Civil Service Employees Association President Danny Donohue backed the legislation in a joint letter they sent to state Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie and other legislators on June 3.

DC 37 will be hosting a College fair in conjunction with the City University of New York on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Representatives from various CUNY schools will be available to provide information such as:

Joseph E. Collins Memorial Scholarship 2019 open now to high school seniors whose parent or legal guardian is an active member of the Civil Service Technical Guild, Local 375. To be eligible, the student must be graduating from high school in June of 2018 and planning to enter college or university in the fall.
