Election Results Confirmed

On February 1, 2019, AFSCME's Judicial Panel issued a decision on the three (3) protests filed in the Local 375 elections. With all of the protests dismissed, the administratorship is working with President Mike Troman to transition control of Local 375 back to the newly elected leadership. CUNY Members Overwhelmingly Approve New Contract

Members at the City University of New York voted by more than 98 percent in favor of a 52-month new contract that provides a raise of more than 8 percent with no givebacks.

The contract–which covers 10,000 members–includes a new paid family leave benefit, which will go into effect in 2019.

“It’s a good contract,” said information technology assistant Anthony Chambers, a Local 2627 shop steward. “It’s in line with what the other city workers got, it’s equitable.”

Local 375 runoff election update

Ballots in the Local 375 officer runoff election were mailed out by AAA on Tuesday, November 13th and must be returned by 9 am on Thursday, December 6th. If you do not receive your ballot by November 20th, please contact AAA' Duplicate Hotline at 1-800-529-5218 Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Please participate in this important election.

Local 375 Election Update

Ballots were counted in the Local 375 election on Monday, November 11, 2018 (Please click here to see the vote count). None of the candidates running for any of the seven (7) Local 375 officer positions received the constitutionally required majority of votes to be declared elected. Local 375 will be having a run off election to determine the officers.
